One Year Blog Anniversary!

I have never ever stuck to a New Years Resolution that I know of, but YES as of now I have kept one for a whole year! On the first of January 2014 I posted the first entry on Just Being Hannah. I have manage to post at least once a month (just!) and I'm pretty proud of what I have achieved. It might not look a lot to some but to me it is!

I have found out a few truths about blogging over the first year of Just Being Hannah...

Do you agree?

1.) That's becoming a superstar blogger doesn't happen over night or over a few months or even in a year.

2.) It's pretty hard work to blog regularly with a full time job and busy life. Even when you want to blog life gets in the way.

3.) You seem to collect a lot of beauty products and they start spilling from bathroom cabinet to dressing table and onwards until they take over your life.

4.) You check your Boots points total every time you buy anything in there then you way up if it's time to spurge them yet! Hmm and what on?

5.) Muji storage is your new best friend.

6.) Taking good photos with good lighting is hard work and more or less impossible in winter.

7.)Yankee candles are a blogger essential.

8.) You debate starting a YouTube channel more or less everyday, then remember how you hate the sound of your own voice.

9.) When something new comes out you want it... No you NEED IT!

10.) You develop an obsession with notebooks and pens, to jot down any blog post idea anywhere.

11.)You wish you were doing/going to all the cool places and holidays every other bloggers seems to be going on. And think your life seems pretty crap. (but it's not!!).

12.)Your mum/boyfriend/sister forever makes comments about how many products you have and always say why don't you use up what you have got first?

13.) Going to Costa and taking an artistic photo of your drink is really cool, then up loading it to instgram and watch the likes fly in.

14.) You think about going on a spending ban every few weeks... Then you get temped to the shops... Game over!

15.) You learn not to rush ideas and not to worry that you haven't posted at all this week even though some people have posted 5 times and it's already Thursday. Every blogger is different with different things happening in there lives. Go at your own pace and who cares if you haven't posted in a month, it's you life and its your blog and it's not a competition or a race.

Overall I have really enjoyed my first year of blogging and I will defo carry it in into 2015. I will try to blog more regularly and more structured. I'm aiming for one post a week so let's see how this goes...!

I have learnt that it's not all about the numbers of followers, views and comments it's more about you and how your blog has made you feel or how it has given you a new least of life. My blog has given me something to focus on and is changing my worrying and anxious mind set. I'm not to fussed about the fact I don't get 100s of comments on every post (or any post!) or I don't have 1000s of followers, it's something for me and that I'm proud of know matter now small.

I really love the bloggers community and hopefully in the new year I will get involved with more blogger chats on Twitter because when I have joined in I have really enjoyed them. I have made some blogger cyber friends too!

If you are reading this and thinking about starting a blog... Do it! Do it for yourself and enjoy doing it. Don't make its a chore and something you have to force yourself to do, post when you want and not when you have been made to feel like you have too!

Catch you next time

My Top 5 Go to Make Up Items of 2014

I found it pretty hard to pick my top make up products of 2014 (the list would have gone of for a while!) so I have decided to tell you about the top 5 I always pick up.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze
I have a few of these  in different colours but this one is defiantly the most used one. It's a great base for one and lasts all day on me. I also find it to be a perfect day look with some bronze shadow on top and along the lower lash line but you can add a flick of eyeliner and it is a great night look. Nice and Simple!

MUA Shimmer Highlighter
I bought this right at the start of 2014 and I got so many complements on what I was wearing on my cheekbones! I don't wear it every day but paired with a simple pink blush is just gives an added dimension to the look. I think they now do this in a gold so I think I will invest in that in the new year and at £3 why not.

Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Elusive
Every blogger around fell in love with these during 2014 and I was know exception! This mid tone pink is my favourite colour as it is just so wearable. You do have to make sure your lips are nice and moisturised and not dry and flaky but that's nothing a lip scrub can't sort out! I only have 2 of these and I have been very resistant in not buying any more but I might have to perk my self up with another one during the start of 2015.

Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara
I LOVE this mascara, I have rebought and I will do again! To be honest I think its all about the brush, this brush is a pretty large plastic one, some people hate plastic mascara brushes but each to there own. When I first used it I was blown away with how much length and volume it gave my stubby lashes! If you like a plastic brush you need to try this!

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer
This is unlike any foundation primer I have ever used! I have used lots of silicon based gel ones before which yeah they sort of work but I don't really like the gel like feel on my skin, but this one is out of this world! It's a kind of cream consistency which most people with an oily skin with scream at! But I sinks into the skin perfectly and after a few minutes I apply my foundation and it goes on amazingly! It also has very impressive staying power. I don't use this everyday but if I know I'm going straight out after work or I have a special occasion/meal/night out I will most defiantly pick this up! I got this free in a Lastest in Beauty Box so I'm gonna use it sparingly as the full size one is pretty pricey.

What have been your go to products of 2014?

Loving Lips- Natual Collections Pink Mallow

A bargain at only £1.99 if this wasn't the lipstick for me I wasn't too bothered, but I was actually really impressed this low end drug store buy!

I love the moisture shine formula and it is pretty long lasting, obviously after eating and drinking it would need re-applying. It feels smooth and applies really well on my lips. If they are on the dry side I tend to scrub them and apply my eos lip balm before hand. The colour is nearly my perfect mid-tone pink... so close and I would be so happy to find the perfect pink for £1.99. I find the colour a little to blue toned on me but I still love to wear it. I bought this in the summer and wore it a lot but I still wear it into the winter to work as it's a wearable colour and is not mega bright.

I'm not overly keen on the packaging it's pretty simple but hey its only £1.99 so who really cares. I have seen reviews about the bullet snapping, I have just been realllly careful applying it!

My mission to find my perfect pink is still on-going but I'm pleased to have this one in my collection. You can but it here and they are often on 342!

Happy Shopping

Loving Lips- MAC Plumful

I don't know about you but I am forever google-ing new lipsticks to buy? From a girl a few years back who never really wore lipstick apart from on a night out I have turned into a massive lip product fan. I cannot resist a pretty mid tone pink or a dark berry colour even though I'm meant to be saving... I spend a lot of time reading blog posts and watching YouTubers researching my next purchase to make sure I buy that 'just perfect colour' (does that even exist?). So here goes...

MAC Plumful

At £17 a pop MAC is pretty pricey for a drugstore girl like me but I think they are defo worth the hype don't you think?

On my trip to New York I picked up a few MAC products as they work out cheaper out there, and I was a MAC virgin before then :O! (Now I'm planing my Christmas list!) Plumful is my favourite of the ones I bought, although I didn't wear it much straight away as to me it is more of a autumnal/wintery colour. I was very happy to start using it from October and now it has become a firm favorite of mine!

I love the plummy dark pink colour and the creamy lustre formula. I find it really moisturising and long lasting on my lips even though it is not heavily pigmented. It's dark enough for autumn/winter but it is not uber dark and vampy so I find it great for wearing at work. If you are a little scared of wearing darker berry colours on your lips I urge you to buy Plumful.

Over all I love Plumful and it is one of my go to lipsticks of the moment. It gives you a perfect moisturising sheen on your lips in a beautiful dark pink berry colour.

Have you got Plumful in your collection?
What are your favorite lipsticks?

Review- Sephora Crayon Jumbo 12H

On my recent-ish trip to Barcelona I picked up these beauties, The Sephora Crayon Jumbo 12H. The name is a little confusing but basically they are eye shadow pencils! I love anything quick and easy and these fit the bill perfectly.

The colours I picked up where Kaki, you guessed it the beautiful dark green, Taupe, the brown-y shimmery shade and Beige, the shimmery neutral light gold. When I buy make up I get so overwhelmed with the choice I always doubt my decision as soon as I have bought it! I'm like it with foundation, lipstick, everything, but with these I'm pretty please with! The only thing is I wish I got more... like a lovely dark bronze...!

The product themselves apply to the eyelid in a really smooth and seamless way. I apply with the crayon end and then gently buff out a little with a brush. I love the fact its so easy to line your bottom lashes with, just in one swipe and it really finished the look off.

You can wear alone but I have been recently using them as a base for some of my power eye shadows and adding a quick line of brown kolh pencil along the bottom as well as the crayon.

You can apply to much of these quite easily and they go all clogged up which is annoying, but I am trying to use a lighter hand when using them and they seem to be applying better. I really like the creamy soft formula and they are really gentle on my sensitive eyes. They are so long wearing even without an eye shadow primer and they do not crease one bit from my experience!

I assume you would sharpen them like any other eye pencil and hopefully they sharpen well as I am yet to try.

Overall I'm totally made up with these eye shadow crayons and I would defo purchase some again when I'm near a Sephora. We just need one or two over in the UK, but that might be a bit lethal! Us bloggers would all be very very poor!

Have you tried these eye shadow crayons?
What Sephora products are your faves?

WILATM- What I'm loving at the Mo #3

Big from Lush- This shampoo is soooo gorgeous!! I love the feeling of the salt grains on my scalp it makes my hair feel really clean and fresh. The smell of it is amazing and it leaves my hair so nice and bouncy! RESULT!!

Christmas Crafts- I'm totally over excited about Christmas already, I'm not allowed to be in full on Christmas mode until after Russ's Birthday(21st Oct) and Halloween so as from 1st November I'm in full on Christmas mode. BUT I seemed to have sneaked it in bit in early by starting some Christmas crafts. I told everyone I started early as they might not have been done for Christmas! So watch this space for some Christmas craft posts!

Miss Budget Beauty- I'm kind of obsessed with all of Mikhila's blogs and Youtube channels. If I am awake early or having a lye in with a cup of tea or in the bath I always catch up on what I have missed. I am so pleased she won a Cosmo blog award to best beauty blog as she is the BEST! defo check her out if you haven't.

My new Phone Case- I was scrolling down my Instgram feed the other day and I came across this cute bunny phone case, I love little bunny rabbits so much I tagged Russ in it as I thought it was so cute. Clue a few days on and Russ said he had a present for me and to my delight he had bought me the case! I did not expect this at all! He is such a sweet lovely fiancé! I'm totally loving it and keep awwwing at the the cute little dressed up bunnies! This is the site he got it from! Go Go Go get one too!!

Review- Dead Sea Spa Magik Pro Cleanser and Toner

I love Skincare and anything new I'm all over it, when I received these two new products I was very excited to open them and start using. They came at the right time really as I had a stinker of a cold and feeling very sorry for myself so ONE they cheered me up and TWO they were perfect for my chapped sore nose (from too much nose blowing) and the my dehydrated forehead from my recent plane ride to Barcelona...

I have tried lots of differnet cleansers and ways to remove my make up and I always go right back to the basics of a creamy cleanser... and the Pro Cleanser fits the bill perfectly. It's creamy, very silky, rich and perfect for sensitive skin. There is no perfumed scent to this just a really fresh and bright smell (can a smell be bright?!).

Both products contain Dead Sea minerals, plant extracts and vitamin E and B5, they contain no parabens either and Dead sea Spa Magik say "they work together to give you visible and immediate results on fine lines, quality of skin and radiance". I most definitely have seem my skin look more radiant since using these.

The cleanser was perfect for my very sore nose and there was next to no stinging which is what I was worried about from other products in the past when having a cold. It removed my make up really well with just a walnut sized amount I applied and massaged it into my face and neck. I like to do a double cleanse and this cleanser really gave my skin a gentle but deep cleanse. It left it looking and feeling fresh, clean and hydrated.

The toner... I LOVE the toner. After my double cleanse I poured a little out onto a cotton pad and whizzed it over my face. Toning is such an important step which from being a therapist, I know lots of people seem to forget! The Pro-Toner is very gentle and again is does not have a  over perfumed smell. My poor little chapped nose didn't not sting one bit! My skin felt cool and refreshed after using this and ready for moisturising.

I love the sleek silver and white packaging and I would most definitely clock the shiny silver box sitting on a shelf like a magpie on it's birthday! I think I would have preferred a pump bottle on the cleanser but that's just me being fussy and lazy.

I'm really impressed with this cleansing duo and they have found a definite home right next too my bathroom sink. My skin has become a lot calmer even with a few breakout here and there, I love the fact they are so gentle and they really hydrated my dehydrated skin.

If you wish to try these you can do so by visiting Shop For Spa's BRAND NEW website! and can pick these both up for £13.96 each!!

What is your go to cleanser?
have you tried any Dead Sea Spa Magik products?

WILATM- What I'm Loving At The Mo #2

Collection Cream Puff Lip Cream
I have seen these on countless beauty blogs and I didn't think I needed them in my life.... Until I saw them half price in Wilko's new beauty section sale! They had to me mine as first sniff! They smell gorgeous, so sweet and vanilla-ry I could eat them right up! The colours I got were cotton candy and fairy cake. I have been a little obessed with them at the mo, they go with most outfits and eye make up looks. I kinda like the fact they are matte. as they look a bit more subtle and last for ages when they are on!

Autumn is here
I love the idea of summer and the fact the days seem longer as they are sunnier but realistically I never turnout to be the beautiful summer goddess I want to be! But Hello Autumn, I'm welcoming you back with open arms along with everything you bring, cosy boots, knitwear and Halloween!

Jaffa Cakes
I'm not sure what has got me back into them but I have been eating them what seems to be non-stop! The yummy dark choc, tangy orange and oh so soft cakey goodness! They are a winner in my eyes!

The Great British Bake Off
I have always loved this program it seems from my timehop feed! It's the mix of yummy cakes, suspence of the possible misshaps, the comedic value of Mel and Sue presenting and the queen of baking herself Mary Berry! I'm not a massive Paul fan he's cool but not as cool as Mary! But who will win this series, my money's on one of the guys but I can put my finger on who!

What you you currently obbessed with!?

Bye for now

What's In My Shower

I took these photos for this post a few weeks ago but never got round to writing it, time really does just run away from me, so here goes!

I'm always interested in what sort of products people use in there daily lives, nice quick and easy ones, so here is what's in my shower at the mo...

I find showers so quick and easy and I love how they really wake you up in the mornings, I do have baths but not that often. I find them really relaxing and I just love a Lush bath bomb but I often over heat in the bath and don't enjoy it as much as a quick refreshing shower! As you can see I have a nice mix of products and I like to change them up fairly quickly.

First off hair care

Lush Shampoo Bar- New- I love this shampoo bar it is meant to stimulate your hair growth, hence there is lots of cinnamon in it so it smells pretty nice! I have tried one other of these bars befores and wasn't too impressed with the lather of it but this one is so different I just rub it a few times over my hair and it makes a crazy amont of bubbles. My hair feels so clean after using it and it's really handy being in a bar as it's not another bottle clogging up the shelving, plus it's great for hand luggage holidays as it's not a liquid, RESULT! I will defo invest in another one again, I like to interchange it with my other shampoos (totally loving Lush's Big too at the mo!).

Dead Sea Spa Magik Mineral Shampoo- I took this on a recent weekend away so I'm just using it up really. I like the fact you again get a great lather from this shampoo and you only need a small amont. It's great of a dry, sensitive scalp too.

Dead Sea Spa Magik Hair Magik Serum- This has to be one of my favourite hair care products of all time. I know I have spoken about this before in my empties post as a hair styling products but I love using it as a conditioner for the length of my hair aw well. You only need a small amont and it really smooths and softens your hair. IN LOVE!

Dead Sea Spa Magik Conditioning Scalp Mud- I use hair serum on the length and this amazing scalp mud on you guessed it my scalp! The smell is not that great, but the clue is in the name, Mud! This really calms down my itchy scalp and I'm really impressed with it. I love the fact it's in an easy to squzze tube, really handy for in the shower.

Soap and Glory The Scrub of Your Life- I got a few of these for Christmas last year in the lovely Soap and Glory gift packs. It's a quick and easy scrub and perfect for use in the shower. It's not harsh feeling but it's does the job and leaves your skin feeling super soft.

Lush-The Olive Branch shower gel- I'm not too fussy at all with shower gel, I got given this in a gift set earlier in the year. It seems quite runny so I often use a bit too much. It has a nice, not over powering smell and it leaves my skin really soft.

Neutrogenia Visibly Clear Pore and Shine Daily Wash- WOW what a long name! I like to use face washes in the morning and I struggle to find one I realllllly like and that does the job of deep Cleasning but not strip my oily skin. This one does the job and has a really nice tangerine scent. I do fine the green colour is a little strange though. To get a good foam you have to use a fair amont of water, which of course isn't a major problem when showering! I'm not blown away with this product but it cleanses and freshens my face well.

What do you use in the shower daily?
Do you have a fave face wash you can recommend to me?

Bye for now

September Goals

Literally how quick has this year gone? Like SO fast! This time of year after a lovely Summer I long for all things wintery like scarves, boots, long cold walks, stew and dumplings, hot chocolate and CHRISTMAS! I like to think I'm a very christmasy person and I think my friends will agree, but enough of Christmas it is only still September.

September is a weird month it always feels to me a little like January what with the new school term and many people off to uni or collage. It's the month of new starts and speaking of new starts every month I try and have a goal or something I want to achieve, I normally do this in my head or in a pretty little note book but this month I feel brave enough to share then with you and to inspire you. Sometimes I do not for-fill these goals but sometimes I do. Some take a little more work and some are more an on going thing.

The following are my September Goals BTW is anyone else sing 'Thats my goal' by once X Factor winner Shane Ward? No? Ok just me then!

To get Organised
I like to think I'm a pretty organised person and I am to an extent but there a just a few things I need to pick my feet up on. Like writing down stuff in my diary, Santa got you it Hannah so dam well use it! Plus its pretty and pink and you will look really cool and intelligent using it even though it only has lunch dates, days off and cinema trips jotted down in not posh meetings and conference calls but anyway! Also i need to orangise my thoughts and ideas and jott them down as soon as I think about them, in a handy pretty note book *aww*.

Get Moving
I was gonna name this get fit then i released that was never gonna happen. I want to get motivated and do a work out DVD twice a week. I already did one this morning!

Keep on Blogging
I love my little blog and it really has in-ritched my life but I need to make more time for it. Instead of sitting on my bum as soon as I get home from work staring into space or checking Facebook for the ten millionth time a day, I want to be on the computer and catching up with the bloggersphere. I need to get down with the bloggers chats and I need to get commenting on more of the lovely blogs I read!

Stay Positive and Don't Worry
I normally am a happy person but every now and again I get in a deep dark hold for a few days and I find it hard to shake it off. Every girl has probably been there and no how I feel but these feeling are starting to happen more and more and I do not like them one bit. I need to stay happy Hannah and fill my life with the things I enjoy and the people I love not the opposite that's what makes me so sad. You can't change the people in your life as they are not going away but you can change how they effect you. I like to look on the bright side of life and I need to keep that at the fore-front of my mind AT ALL times!!

Stay Calm
I never use to get anxious when I was younger but now I'm getting anxious a lot, lot more. This is kind of a on-going goal to beat it and get back to being the real Hannah but I'm trying. If you have anxiety you will defo now where I'm coming from and totally understand how I'm feeling. The feeling is horrid and trying to shake it off feels impossible, it ruins days and evenings of my life and I hate it. A lot of situations I'm fine with but there are a certain few I just can't cope with, it looks and sounds pathetic to the on looker who doesn't understand but it really is hard when your suffering.

Here are a couple of my favorite quotes from everyones favorite Pinterest to inspire you some more (I do love a quote),

So there are my goals for September, let see how I go and I hope I have inspired you to set a few goals for your self. Please do comment below if I have.

Lush Wishlist

You either love it or you hate it and us bloggers defiently love it. Lush is just so well...LUSH! When walking down the high street and I get a wiff of the gloroius smell I have to go in, the staff are always so helpful and friendly and the displays are like an Aladdin's cave of bright colours, unique and interesting beauty products. After a recent shopping trip I decided there are so many wonderful things for sale I had to compile a wish list. I am planning to pick these up one at a time when I'm out shopping, steadily building my collection!

Brightside Bubble Bar
It's mainly the name and the colours that attract me to this one. I love anything bright and bold this certainly ticks both boxes. As for the name, I try to always look on the bright side of things! I have tried a few bubble bars and I really like them (fave would have to be Creamy Candy), I like the fact you can break bits off so they last a bit longer and they create so many bubbles YAY!

Coalface
As I work for a skincare company I'm normally fully stocked on facial products, i have them coming out of my ears! But this is one I am defo going to be purchasing! I really wanna try this to help with oil production and to clear up my skin.

Mask Of Magnaminty
I have seen and heard lots of good things about this mask and I think it will be top of my hit list. It claims to fight breakouts in a gentle way... I'm sold!

You've Been Mangoed
Again the name, they got me at the name! I love anything tropical and one of my favourite drinks is Rubacon Mango Juice! I love The Marshmellow bath melt and desperate to try this one too.

Vanishing Cream
I tired this in the shop on the back of my hand and loved the light silky feel. It contains lavender and witchhazel and I think it would be good to balance my skin. Although it is up the high end of Lush's pricing I defo think if it was to be good, it would be worth it.

Have you tried any of the above?
What is your favourite Lush product?

It's All About The Blush

This summer I have have seemed to have bought quite a lot of blushes, not intentionally but the packaging is so pretty and the colours so mesmerising they just seem to fall into my basket!

Below are the Blushers I have loved this summer

Benefit Coralista- I first came across this blusher a fair few years back in a Christmas gift set. I loved it and was so sad when it ran out. Being a more high end product I never re-purchased it again, then my flight into the blogger sphere and a trip to New York later I have it back in my life again! I love the coral pink colour with the slight gold shimmer, it suits most skin tone even my pale and interesting skin but looks even better when I fake tan, which I really should do more! I love love LOVE the packaging and the smell! Have you noticed the smell of it? Go on sniff it and you will see! Plus it has a handy brush for on the go appulations (that I don't really do, but I should!). I would LOVE to have more Bene Blushers, What ones are your faves?

Bourjois Blush 01- I totally would not have bought this if I didn't receive it in the Glamour Summer Beauty Edit but I totally fell head over hills in love with it. With having an oily skin I steered clear of cream blushes, I have got the Benefit Fine Fine One but that was kind of a impulse buy and it's not my fave at all. But this one THIS one is amazzzzzing! First off the colour is natural and nude which means it suits most lip colours plus it's builable too. I like to apply it with my Real Techniques sponge or my fingers then I blend it upwards. Have your tried these? What do you think?

Revlon Highlighting Palette, Rose Glow 020- I heard this was a dupe for the Bobbie Brown Shimmer Brick which is something that I have always wanted to try. I have loved this product as it gives you a lovely sweep of colour with a slight shimmer and a light pink and natural glow. It's great and buildable and not too much! I really recommend this product and it's have lasted for ages! How does this rate to the Bobbie Brown Shimmer Brick?

Sleek Blush in Rose Gold 262- This is my total fave blusher of alllllll timmmmeeee!!!! When I don't no what one to wear I always pull this one out of my muji draw! The pigment and colour are out of this world! I'm so glad I discovered this blusher, I just apply a light sweep over my cheek and I'm done! It's great for day and night. I normally wear this to work and often get comments on how nice it looks. I really should have taken a photo of it open but I hit the pan of it a long time ago so it isn't that pretty but I figured at a total blogger fave you would all not what it looks like! I will defo be repurchasing this blusher again. I have a couple of other sleek blusher but they don't seem as good as this one, What other Sleek Blusher have you tried and loved?!

I can't believe there was a time a few years back that I never used blusher! I think it scare me a little as I didn't want to look like the girl with the clown face. Now I would never be without one!

This Summer...

Sorry about my absent from the blogging scene this summer, the days and weeks just seemed to have slipped away with me and my blogging mojo got lost in all the summer fun I was having!

But now the grey clouds of autumn have seemed to have gathered, all but a little early this year (it's still August!). I'm back with my pretty floral notebook and a list as long as my arm of my must have beauty buys! (I'm off to boots today!)

If you want to fill yourself in with my summer going on's then why not follow my Instagram account @justbeinghannah_ I total love Instagram and check it at least 72 times a day and post mostly photos of food #allipostisfood!

I have a busy Autumn already planned, amongst other things I'm meeting up with old friends and going on a city break to Barcelona with Russ and another couple! I have always wanted to go to Barcelona so really excited already! I'm gonna try and blog regularly from now on! But please forgive me if I don't

Bye for now, but not for too long...

This Sunday #008

Wow, what a lovely Sunday we all have just had, I'm currently sitting on the sofa with tinglering sunburnt skin (oppies, I did where cream though) and looking through some lovely pics that we took!

As you know myself and Russ love to get out and about on our days off, today we went to the beach with the whole family, Ruby the black lab included. We went down to Little Stone beach and have a lovely long walk while the tide was out. We met up with one of Lucy's friends who lives right on the beach the lucky thing! After the walk we collasped on a picnic rug and chilled out while dad lit up the barbie! Lots of chatting and eating later we all realised that we where slightly burnt! I think the breeze at the beach had disguised how hot it actually was!

Here our a few of our photos of a wonderful family day!

Lucy Photo Bombing Ruby's Portrait!

We ended with a family selfie on the beach!

Hope you are all having a fab Sunday and made the most of getting out in the fresh air! Whats your fave thing to do on a Sunday?

Latest in Beauty Box- The Glamour Beauty Edit

I have been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks but I never got round to taking the pics, but today, a lazy sunday finally find time!

As a new-ish beauty blogger you would probably be shocked to know that I do not have a beauty box subscription! Oh boy I wish I did I would LOVE beauty goodies dropped on my door mat every month, but one reason and aother I have never took the plunge to do it (I'm meant to be saving, house, wedding and possible holidays!). But when I saw the Latest In Beauty Glamour Beauty Edit crop up on Instagram and Bloglovin I knew I had to have it. One thing I like about it is I know mostly, apart from colours what I'm gonna get, thats the control freak in me I suppose. I will defo be looking our for more of there lovely boxes!

Heres what I got, plus a mini (i mean mini, tiny) review on what I think so far!

Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan BB Skin Perfector
Jezze what a long name for a fake tan! I have not tried this yet but it looks easy to use. It will be good for a quick fix tanning product and I will probably use on my very pale legs! I like the fact it is wash off so will be good for a day/night out.

Velvotan The Original Tanning Mitt
I am a fan of fake tan mitts the are a great way to apply fake tan, they save your from orange palms and streaky tans. I will use this one with the Rimmel Tan above as i have a stack of dirty fake bake mitts tha need a good wash!

Hawaiian Tropic Stain Proctection Ultra Radiance Sun Lotion spf30
This will be perfect for my city break to Barcalona in September! Nice pretty packaging and a super nice holiday scent.

Toni and Guy Volume Plumping Whip
This is just the product for me e the mo as I'm feeling my hair is a little thin and limp, I will def be trying this asap and let you all know what I think of it.

Crabtree and Evelyn Nail Lacquer
Who knew Crabtree and Evelyn did nail polish? I recived the bright red, which is great for all year round and on my next free days off I will try it. I might have prefer the light pink as it's a bit more wearable for my work.

DHC Deep Cleasning Oil
This is one of the reason why boughts this box, i have been wanting to try an oil cleaser for a while. I have used a couple of times and I'm pleased with it. Full review to come.

Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick
I have been on the look out for a new nude lipstick for a while and being SO indecisive I can never choose when I'm shopping so end up leaving the shop empty handed! I'm made up with the colour I recived it's called rosepout, it's not too pale and it's not too dark and it feel super soft and silky on my lips, result!

Magnifibers Brush-on False Lashes
I'm not a fan of false eye lashes they are just too delicate and fussy for me to put on! These may be the answer but i'm not holding my breath as the reviews i have seen don't seem that great!

You might have noticed one thing missing...as I have been sooooo impressed by the following blusher it seems to have already sneaked pride of place in my muji draw.

Bourjour Cream Blush 01
I do not normally get on with cream products with my oily skin but this my friends... is amazing. The colour is so nice not uber bright and it's so wearable for work. Full review to come.
