The Lazy Girls Moisturiser

I bought this product last year and I fell in love with it and all you lazy girls will do too (or have done already!)

The clue is in the name you basically spray...and go! Well obviously I advises you get dressed before you leave the house but you get the picture ;)

I use the yellow one with 'oat extracts' which I do find a little strange but it's the most natural and non over powering one of them all! I love it as it's SO quick and easy! I use this in the mornings and it absorbs into the skin so quickly by the time I'm dressed my skin feels silky and smooth and NOT sticky!! Horray!! I really hate that sticky mouistiser feeling when you get dressed!

Happy Friday! Hope you all have a great weekend planned!

The Lazy Girl's Exfoliator

If you're anything like me you prefer more time in bed then getting up early, right?
Then check out my lazy girls series of posts... Here's the first...

I can be pretty bad with the skin on my body, my face routine is sorted but my skin on my body sometimes feels dry and itchy especially my legs after waxing. Step in the lazy girls new best friend...

Spa Find Heavanly Hydration Salt Brushing

This basicly is a scrub and moisturiser in one!! I love it! Two steps in one, saving you valuable time!

It's made of salt and the lovely coconut oil and vitamin E.

use this product on a dry (not wet!) skin, either standing in the bath while it's running or in the shower before I turn it on. A little bit goes a long way so don't use too much per area. Massage it into the skin in quick, circular movements, focus on areas that get very dry and rough like knees, elbows and hands. You will notice lots of salt falling on the floor, this will dissolve with water and makes a lovely bath oil! Be carful though as the floor of your bath or shower will become slippery.

As soon as you rinse the salt off your skin feels super soft! As the product has oil in it leaves your skin with a silky 'film' over it which locks in the moisture! I normally moisturise with body lotion if I use salt brushing before I go to bed as an extra weapon against the dry skin but in the mornings I don't tend to.

What are your lazy girl fave products?!

March Spending Ban Wishlist

I never thought a spending ban would be so hard! Shopping really does make me happy! I suppose I'm just like any girl really but man this is hard! I have been very resistant even when I have had to pop into town to do something like an appointment I have been strong and stayed out of Boots, Superdrug, New Look etc. But just a scroll down my Facebook, Instagram and Bloglovin' feed is so hard, ideas are everywhere! Me and Russ popped into Tesco's for some bits and I was lusting after this dress in there, I was so sad I couldn't buy it *sad face*.I have sooooo many clothes and quite a lot of make up at home I know in my hearts of hearts that I don't need anything.... but there is know harm in wishing and debating what's out there is there?

New Gelux Ice Ice Baby Shades- I do gel nails from home for my friends and family. I have a small-ish collection of shades one of each colour to suit everyone's taste but when I saw these I knew I needed more! I love the pastel mint green and the bright orange looks fab for holiday and the light pink as you can never have too many pink nail polishes/gels! So after my spending ban I might grab a couple once I have seen them in real life at the beauty suppliers!

Real Techniques Stippling Brush- After getting the core collection for my birthday and watching a few youtube videos and reading lots of blog posts I feel I need the stippling brush in my life as well. I do get on with the buffng brush for my liquid foundation but I really want to see first hand what this one is like. I still have some vouchers from my birthday so I might pick this on up as well!

No7 Pop and Glow Cream Blushers- Two be fair what girl would not want these, they are bright and colourful and oh so pretty. I have used the Benefit cream blusher 'Fine One One' and I really like it. I fancy trying the orange one first...and the light pink...! Have you tried these? How do you apply them?

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm- I have seen a few reviews on cleansing balm and I just fancy trying it. I might pick it up in New York. I really like removing my make up with a creamy cleanser but I'm always up for new things to try and I really like the eye make up remover in the same range.

I don't have long left on my spending ban (until 10th April) and I'm planning on a big shopping trip to Lakeside in Essex on the 11th! There Primark is AMAZZZING! I'm not going to go crazy as my New York trip is just around the corner and I'm soooo excited already! I'm researching my April New York Wish List is we speak.... what this space!

#nomakeupselfie

Well here's mine...

At 1st I was a little unsure about this #nomakeupselfie when I 1st saw it on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram this week, then by Wednesday everyone was doing it and I was so shocked at how much money Cancer Research UK have raised! It's an amazing thing. The amount of people slagging it off is a little crazy! Yeah it has probably clogged up your news feed a bit with bare faced ladies but it has raised it's public profile even more and everyone's talking about it an donating!

Cancer is a horrible, horrible thing and it has hit my family a few years back, we beat it off with a massive stick and we won! YAY! Not everyone can be so lucky though, the more money people raise the better chance we all have at beating it.

If you haven't done a selfie yet I urge you to post one and donate whatever you can to the cause. I love make up as much as the next beauty blogger, we all hide behind make up and cover up what we think are our imperfections but everyone is beautiful with or without make up.

I thought cancer would never effect me and the ones I love but it did and it came with a massive shock. I'm forever grateful to anyone that have ever given money to help with the Cancer Research as my families life would be a lot different if we were not so lucky.

The Blogger Made Me Buy It #001

So my 1st of 'The Blogger Made Me Buy It' posts! For this one I blame Kelly from Along Came Kelly, see her review here and check out her other lovely posts.

The 1st thing I thought when I saw these beauty's come up on my bloglovin' news feed was...

'oooo they look expensive!'
and they really do!
In fact they are only £7.99!!!

To be honest I was never a fan of lip products in generally but over the last few years I have fallen in love with them, The Clinique Chubby Stick being my 1st and my fall back favourite. But still I was not a major gloss fan, until I tried these babies. These are a Gloss and a lip stain in one.

The application can be a little tricky but I find less is more and you can build it up rather than putting too much on in the 1st place. Sometimes the colour sticks in drier areas but its not a major problem. The colours lasts for ages and the gloss feels smooth and not sticky

Below are the two colours I bought

200- Princess, which is red-y, orange colour
300- Julet, a deeper red colour

I think these are great with a simple eye look, like liner and mascara. Let your lips do the talking!

Hopefully now you will rush off to buy these like I did after Kellys review!

This Sunday...

What a beautiful day we had here in sunny Kent!

I love Sundays for a few reasons...

1. Me and Russ are both off.
2. Even though I have work on a Monday I feel chilled and non pressured.
3. My dad cooks an amazing Sunday roast!

This Sunday was know exception, with the fun out we wanted to go out and enjoy it. In the morning me, Russ and my muma went to a local farmers market, from cheese to cider there was lots of local  produce, we came away with some amazing home made scotch eggs for lunch!

We also popped into a vintage and makers market. With free admission it was worth a look, it was packed full of little tresures! With my spending ban still on I held up well and didn't buy anything! I was very much tempted by a jazzy 70's blanket but know I was good! There was done lovely home made bits and bobs which gave me and mum some ideas for things to make ourselves!  I did pick up lots of cards so after the spending ban I might take another look! I'm gonna defo look out for more of them as I really enjoyed looking around and my best buddy Kerry would die from excitement, I just know it she LOVES anything vintage and pretty!

Later we took Ruby-kins on a walk. I just love walking in the sun and getting done fresh air. Along the way we got a bit snap happy...

For pudding tonight me and russ made a mango and rasberry eton mess! It was amazing!

Hope you all had a good Sunday and it was super sunny like mine!

C is for Coconut Oil...

A Magical Multi-Tasking product, not only does it smell delicious it's perfect for your hair and body routine.

Currently I'm loving Spa Find's Heavnely Hydration Coconut Spritz, it has a blend of beautiful citrus oils and smells like a holiday in a bottle!

Recently I am loving using this in my hair! I have fairly oily hair and years back the thought on putting an oil in my hair would be crazy but after Moroccan oil landed in our lives I use this coconut oil in my hair and I LOVE IT. So if im planning on washing my hair the following morning I spritz some into my hand and a apply to the length of my hair. It has all night to work its magic and absorb itself into my hair. Once I wash it out my hair feels AMAZING! Sometimes if I have used more it can be a bit tough to get it all out, but if you leave your shampoo on for a few mins it will dissolve the oil and it should be fine.

Coconut oil is FAB for using as a body moisturiser as you all know. The coconut spritz comes in a handy spray bottle so you can get you the hard to reach areas like your back, I find it literally MELTS into your skin! A sweep of your hand and you are left with beautifully soft, hydrated skin and a slight shimmery glow! Its perfect now summers on its way!

Other uses include using as a cuticle oil on dry chapped fingers, getting up close and personal with a loved one and using it in a massage (we use it in the Spa and have so many comments about the amazing smell smell!) and mixing it with a plain body lotion for a richer body butter!

I hope you are all feeling a bit more tropical now and you like me are now craving a Pina Colada!!

mmm this is the life!

I hope you are enjoying my A-Z of Beauty!?

Mind your P's and Q's..

I am a very grateful and thankful person, I still write Thank You cards for my family and friends at Christmas! Manner cost nothing and I just wanted to THANK YOU ALL for taking the time to read my blog and to all my 116 followers on Blog'lovin, I am over the moon and I never thought that anyone would read my little blog! I know 116 followers isn't much in the whole grand scheme of things but still to me its amazing!

I started in January as a new years resolution, which I have actually kept! I really enjoy 'talking' about my likes and interests with you and sharing hints and tips from my work as a beauty therapist. I am still learning everyday about this blogging lark and I love to read all your blogs and getting hints and tips and about new and amazing products! Its so nice to have someone to try before you buy if you know what I mean!

I try to blog at least a couple of times a week, I think regular blogging is good and it really have changed my outlook on life. Before I would spend a lot of my time worrying about things going on in my life (like every girl does) but now I try and think of new and exciting things to blog about. Being a Beauty Therapist I can spend an hour and a half at one time doing a massage treatment with only my mind for company and 'Just Being Hannah' has sort of become my 'saviour' (sounds a bit strange I know) but during that time I would beat myself up about things in my head and get quite worked up and over think things, I feel so much calmer now and so much more focused on the right things in life.

A few of my fave blogs to read are...

The Small Things Blog this was one of the 1st blogs I followed she is amazing, I love her hair tutorials and she has recently had the cutest little boy!

Along Came Kelly- Kelly started blogging the same time as me and she is my little blogger friend, defo check her's out for fab make and beauty reviews!

Tartanmouth- Charlene started blogging to this year and I love her mix of posts again another blogger friend!

Miss Budget Beauty- is another great blog of product reviews and I LOVED her NYC holiday diary from her recent trip! I got some great hints and tips on where to go from her!

Thank you all again for taking the time to read a little piece of my life, lots more excited blogs to come, following me on my adventures!

Lots of love

Spending Ban...

Right!!!
So here goes...
Hmm...
I'm not sure I can do this!!!
I have GOTTA do this!!!
Ok...
GO!!!!!

As of today I'm on my 1st spending ban!!!

Eeekkkk, I'm sort of a tiny, weeny bit excited to see how much money I save...Of course I am still going to buy the things that I need like decodent and food and petrol but I'm not going to buy silly, unnessacaey stuff.

On my days off I normally get bored so go into town do a bit of shopping visit Primark, New Look, Boots and Dotty P's and normally come home with a few bits, Well know more (or for a while!) I'm a changed woman! I am instead going to fill my days with fun things like baking, reading, doing a face mask, chilling out and my new fave past time blogging!!

With lots of things to save for coming up in the near future, me and russ are off to New York in 48 days (WOOOP) and planning on buying a house later this year (or next...!) I need to be more sensible with my spending. I'm not a hard core shopper I don't have any credit card debts etc but I do feel I buy a lot if stuff I don't really need! Take clothes for example I barely have enough room in my bedroom for all my many clothes but yet still I have nothing to wear so buy more!

Of course in New York I will have a bit if a spend up but it will be very well deserved and I will be in holiday (it's very different)! I have a ever growing list but I'm doing my research seeing the difference in prices etc, I'm a girl that loves a deal!

I think a little bit of naughty-ness is good for you! Like the odd cream cake or Chinese take away (not both on the same day!) every now and again. But what I mean is over all the time me and Russ have been saving up we try not too  go without, we love to buy bits and bobs for our first home and that's what keeps us going, it keep's the dream alive and I know that one day it will come true! We know once we buy a house money will be tighter so we want to enjoy life to the max before hand!

So this is my mission and I have chosen to accept it one month of no un-nessacaey spending , wish me luck and I will need your support...

Shopaholic Hannah over and out!

Clinique Bonus Time...

I picked up this beauty at John Lewis the other day, how summery and bright is the bag!?

I always look out for when Clinique have their bonus times on as I love getting the free gift as a perk of being a loyal customer! I needed some more of my fave foundation anti-blemish and as one of the products has to be skin care to get the bonus I picked up some more of there amazing Take The Day Off Eye Make Up Remover. It's a great eye make up remover so gentle and take your stubbon eye make up off with ease.

The gift-

Bright floral make up bag- I love love LOVE this, it's really roomy and I will proberly take my make up to New York in it.

60ml Take The Day Off- I will again take this handy travel size to New York.

15ml Repairwear Uplifting SPF 15 cream- this will be good to try at night as I think it will be a bit heavy for day wear. The texture is really nice and creamy.

7ml Repairwear Laser Focus- I will use this underneath the above lifting cream at night. I love getting anti-aging samples as it's so good to try them out before you buy them.

High Impact Mascara- I LOVE this mascara, it's everything I want volume, length and colour! Defo recommend it!!

09 Currant- Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss- I love this dark berry colour, I'm not a fan of lip glosses as I find them really stick but I wear them now and again

18 Beach Pulm Eye Shadow Duo- 1st I live the mirror packaging of this compact, so handy! I love the goldy colour for a natural colour and the Pulm is nice as well.

Over all I love the gift! I picked up a 5 day sample of a new foundation to try, I'm currently trying it out so look out for a blog post soon!

What Clinique products do you love?

That's A Wrap...

A quick little post today!

I bought these nail wraps from Avon recently as they were half price (I can't for the life remember how much I paid!), I love a nail wrap me!

My faves being Minx as they have the prettiest patterns but these are great to do at home yourself! To be honest these were so easy I did them in about 15 mins!

Just cut and prep your nails, choose the closest size of wrap to your nail and stick on and stretch. If it's a little too big I push down the sides so it leaves a mark and then I trim it to size with little nail scissors. I find the smaller toes more faffy but still it's worth it as wraps normally last about 4-6 weeks on me!

I really love the bright pastel colours of these leopard print ones! I would defo recommend trying wraps for a change to polish!

Have you use wraps before? Did you do them yourself or in a salon?

Bye for now

My Birthday Bonanza!

Well at the moment I have back to work blues...only had 4 days off but they have been oh so lovely! I have been thoroughly spoilt from head to toe for my 24th birthday! And here's what I got up too!

We had a chilled Friday did a few jobs in town, walked Ruby in the flooded local park and ending with a birthday Chinese take away! Mmm I just love a Chinese it is my fave take out, I know it isn't good for you but hey I don't have it that often!

Saturday was my surprise birthday day out planned by the lovely Russell! We got the train to London then he texted me from the opposite seat (how times have changed!) we were off shopping, lunch and then to see my fave show We Will Rock You the musical! I was made up with the day ahead!

We had a wander along Oxford Street and Carnaby Street looking in and out of shops! It wasn't a hard core shopping day so it was nice and relaxed looking in shops we do not have in Kent! We went to Muji which we had briefly been in before at Christmas time, I oooohed and awwwwwed at the make up storage then but had seemed to have gone up another level and there were 'beautiful' acrylic storage boxes that I have seen on lots of blogs! I needed them! I purchased the 5 draw one and was very pleased with myself! After that purchase I needed some new make up to put in it so when we were down Carnaby street we popped into the Benefit Boutique. I have seen the Gimme-Brow  on their social media sites and was interested to try it! The girl tried that on me and a few other things I wanted to try! i was quite restraint and only came away with the Gimme-Brow as I knew I would be getting money/vouchers for my birthday!

Then it was lunch time and we had a table booked at Prezzo one of my fave restaurents. We had a lovely lunch and a nice glass of Prosscco to celebrate with.

We wandered down to We Will Rock You and settled into our great seats, Rolos and a Diet Coke in hand! The show was great! It was the forth time I had seen it in the 12 years it has been open and I would go again at the drop of a hat! I love love love musicals but this one holds a place in my heart whilst growing up we as a family listened at lot to Queen.

After it finished we wandered along to Piccadilly and went to Grace Bar for a few drinks! It was happy hours so we took full advantage on having a few cocktails! I had such a fabulous day and it was so sunny and dry! NO RAIN! Woohoo!!

On Sunday my actual birthday we had a laid back day having croissants for breakfast and opened my presents before we had a slap up Sunday lunch at my Dad's golf club, the food is amazing! We came home with very full bellies and my best friend Kerry and her boyfriend Matt came over for more present giving! My mum had made a fab chocolate cake which we all had a little bit of room for!

I felts so lucky and touched at all the cards, presents, texts, tweets, instagram comments and Facebook Messages! I received about 70 Facebook posts, I was amazed that all those people took the time to write a little post! It really shows the amount of people who care and think about you and I was wowed! So thank you to everyone that made my birthday lovely and put a little smile on my face :)

Hope you all had a fab weekend
